We're homeowners! We bought a wonderful old house in Salem, Oregon, in January 2006.
It's an American Foursquare, "simple and pragmatic." It was built in 1916. It seems to have a little bit of history, and we're tracking that down & will share it here as we stumble across interesting bits. We'll also try to post pictures and keep you updated on the progress of our house-related projects.

The carpet's gone, the linoleum's up, the walls are stripped of all previous decorating disasters. Next up: Refinishing the floors in October, fixing the plaster walls & painting! |
